Botanical estate of 1.6 hectares of gardens
$9,200,000
Dubai · Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
A horizontal glass pavilion suspended over its own stretch of Gulf shoreline, where every room ends in water.
The architecture
Conceived as three stacked stone-and-glass planes, Mirage One dissolves the boundary between the Gulf and the living space. Nine-metre sliding walls retract fully; the infinity edge of the pool aligns exactly with the horizon at sunset. Travertine, smoked oak and bronze form the entire material palette.

Life here
Mornings begin on the beach terrace before the city wakes. The lower level holds a private spa, cinema and a wine room calibrated for two thousand bottles. Staff quarters and a separate service circulation keep the main house entirely private.
