Cala Serena

A restored stone finca above its own turquoise cove on the Tramuntana coast — olive terraces, sea light, silence.

The architecture

Private cove with boathouse

Four centuries of Mallorcan stone, rebuilt over five years with a contemporary interior of lime plaster, oak and local marés sandstone. The old olive press is now a double-height library; the terraces still carry nine hundred olive trees.

Life here

A footpath winds down through the terraces to a private cove and boathouse. Summers are long lunches under the pergola; winters are fireplaces and the best light on the island.
